Lately, a firefox add-on called "Firesheep" which was created by Seattle-based software developer Eric Butler. Firesheep allow any other user or even an computer novice to hack into any person's facebook, twitter , amazon and other online account with just a WiFi network scanning ! What the user have to do is connect into an open Wi-Fi Network, open the add-ons and click a single button, the software will start capturing other user's login data and displaying user detail at the sidebar.

Which mean, now other people able to access your account or even get all the crucial data whenever you connect into an Open Wi-Fi Network ! And i personally think it's a privacy invasion ! This software does more harm than good !

However, there's still certain ways to protect yourself from " Firesheep" . According to Chet Wisniewski, a senior security adviser at antivirus vendor Sophos, the best defence is to use a VPN ( Virtual Private Network) whenever you connecting to public Wi-Fi networks in public places. A VPN encrypts all the trqaffic that goes on from your computer , including the sites which are vulnerable to Firesheep hijacking. Unfortunately, VPN is not a total solution because the information will only be protected while it is still in the VPN server and once the information leave the VPN , it will still be vulnerable, but much effort is needed for the hacker to steal that specific information . Just a day after Maxis announced the release date of the Iphone 4 in Malaysia which was 26th of September as well as release the specific plan and pricing for its Iphone 4. At about 11.50pm(Malaysia time, 20th of September), Digi has announced that their company will release the iphone 4 on the 24th of September.

This was what apparently to be Maxis's ads and its plan.

Digi, however , did not release their plan and pricing yet but according to their website , Digi will keep all the apple fans an updates in few days time. I cant imagine how the war will gonna end, but i'm confident that Digi will release a better and much more affordable plan against its rival , Maxis.  Anyway, this was the ads that just released by Digi.
What most people include me believe that the 4 apples represent the " Iphone 4 ". About the goat, erm... apparently the person who came out this idea about the goat seem to be inspired by a Malaysian forum called 'lowyat.net' . The user in the forum tend to use " Kambing " which was Malay language of goat as " coming " . So in this ads, Digi tried to tell peoples that iphone 4 will be coming by 24th of September ! .

So right now, we will wait for the official announcement from Digi to make a smarter choice. :)

As Steve Job proudly walk to the stage to show off their latest company's product " Iphone 4". Unfortunately,  when it comes to wowing audiences during product demos, but even Steve Job's  famous reality-distortion field couldn't protect him from an embarrassing Wi-Fi snafu during the big WWDC keynote Monday. 






After about 20-30 minute, when Steve Job's speech finally reached the climax , the Wifi Network that Steve used to show off the ability of Safari browser in the Iphone 4's revamped screen conked out and Steve show the audience with his little red face and also a giant blank Web Page ! How unfortunate is it >.< ll

BARCELONA, Spain — Cellphones aren’t the only things on display at the Mobile World Congress show. Motorola is showing off its new headset, the Golden-i, a joint venture with mini-display maker Kopin. It makes the need for typed commands almost obselete. The hands-free terminal fits under a contructional helmet and provides a tiny little screen before your eye. This screen simulates a 15 inch display and also has a headphone, a microphone along with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi for talking to other devices. Simply use some cool voice-controlled commands to call out names of folders and application to open or launch them. The voice detection software, supplied by Nuance and called VoCon3200, ignores normal conversation, only listening to commands when there is a gap first, so you can say “my pictures” as part of sentence and it will be ignored. Besides, the headset also tracks the position of your head, so you can move around and have, say, picture overlaid on reality stay put.
Surely, this will remind you of some futurist sci-fi flick you must've seen a few years ago.

Researchers have built a new super-small "nanodragster" that improves on prior nanocar designs and could speed up efforts to craft molecular machines.It’s said to be 50,000 times thinner than a single strand of human hair. It is driven using electricity or heat.Spherical molecules called buckyballs made of 60 carbon atoms each serve as the big rear wheels. Due to chemical attractions, these wheels nicely grip the "dragstrip," which is made of a superfine layer of gold rather than pavement. For the front wheels, the scientists opted for a less sticky compound called p-carborane.

Seem like Nokia finally release their secret weapon to attract more customer for their smartphone. Nokia had released its free turn-by-turn navigation on Google Maps that don’t even need to pay for data charges to load a map!  And yes, this is true !! Nokia has officially announced that Ovi Maps will be free, forever, so if you’re using a Nokia phone with GPS, check out the download link at http://www.nokia.com/maps. As I am typing this now, yes, I’m downloading the new version of Ovi Maps for my phone.

Finally the rumour is true that the SE Vivaz aka Kurara was a true deal. This phone was a other smartphone( especially iphone) killer machine. Why? because it had 8.1 Megapixel camera with perks like face detection that's also completely capable of shooting 720P videos and uploading them to services like YouTube or playing them back through TV-out. It also have FM radio, AGPS, WiFi, TV-out at VGA resolution, a 3.2-inch WVGA display and power with  S60 5th Edition . Have you ever see a 3D phone before? Recently, a Taiwanese company called Innovision took things up a notch with their HoloAD technology . The phone doesn't require a 3D supported glasses and it was using 3D steroids.  How it works? It is actually quite simple , the system is placed a transparent glass pyramid-like casing that’s flat at the rear then a set of three seperate images are projected onto the trapezoidal sides giving it a 3D hologram look.
